Sunday School classes meet
regularly every Sunday, during Sunday morning worship. There are 10
Sunday School teachesr who rotate on a regular basis. At present, the
materials used for our classes come from the Seasons of the Spirit
work sheets.
Every first Sunday of the month,
the children have their own Junior Worship. The Junior Worship is
based on the same format as the adult worship service, but is
simplified for the children.
Children regularly prepare songs to
be sung either just before communion on Communion Sundays or on
regular Sundays and other special occasions.
The Sunday School group has a
regular sleepover camp once a year. It has an average attendance of 20
children from grades 1-6.

the Congregation in the Children at Synod (CATS) program. Sent a total
of 4 delegates in 1996 & 2001.

Christian Education programs. Attended the 1st Millennium Camp run by
the Presbytery in Broadmeadows, sending 7 participants.
CE conduct confirmation classes as
required. This year we held one with 5 confirmants.
Adult CE Ministry
CE organises a
yearly Family Camp whish has an average attendance of about 80
members, as well as some non-members. Uniting Church
facilities/campsites are used for these events.
CE ensures that
elders are given a time to renew, revitalise and have some time to be
by themselves on Elders & Council member's retreats, which are usually
held twice a year.
CE also runs
marriage encounter seminars for married couples within the
congregation, as well as non-members. The aim of these seminars is to
enrich the relationship between husband and wife, as well as their
relationship with their children and other members of their family.
CE also works
with different committees in charge of running special occasions on
our church calendar (as follows): Prayer month, Mother's Day, Father's
Day, our church anniversary, Easter activities for children, Christmas
Pageant presented by the children.
